EV ENTREPRENEURSHIP / IDEA PITCH COMPETITION

Day 1

Time: 01.30 pm - 03.00 pm

The EV Entrepreneurship / Pitch Competition is an exciting opportunity for participants to showcase their innovative ideas for new EV-related businesses to a panel of expert judges. The winning pitch will be chosen based on its potential for success, innovation, and impact on the industry.


Rules and Regulations

    Eligibility:

  1. The competition is open to college students .
  2. Students should enter the competition in teams of 2-4 members
  3. Participants must have a passion for electric vehicles and sustainable transportation.

    Idea Submission:

  1. Each participant or team must submit an original idea related to electric vehicles.
  2. The idea should be innovative, feasible, and have the potential to make a positive impact on the EV industry.
  3. Submissions can include EV technology, charging infrastructure, software solutions, battery innovations, or any other relevant aspect of the electric vehicle ecosystem.
  4. All submissions must be made before the specified deadline.

    Format of the Pitch:

  1. Participants or teams will have a limited time 10 mins to present their idea.
  2. The pitch has to be in the form of a powerpoint presentation

    Judging Criteria:

  1. Originality and Innovation: Uniqueness and novelty of the idea.
  2. Based on its potential for success: How practical and implementable the idea is
  3. Impact: Potential positive impact on the electric vehicle industry and the environment.
  4. Presentation: Clarity, coherence, and effectiveness of the pitch.
  5. Q and A session

    Intellectual Property:

  1. Participants retain full ownership of their ideas.
  2. The organizers will treat all ideas with confidentiality and will not share them with external parties without explicit permission.

    Plagiarism:

  1. Submissions must be the original work of the participants.
  2. Plagiarized content will result in disqualification.

    Prizes:

  1. First prize worth of 5K

    Disqualification:

  1. Participants or teams found violating the rules will be disqualified.
  2. Inappropriate content or disrespectful behavior during the presentation will not be tolerated.
  3. Participants must adhere to a code of conduct that promotes respect and inclusivity throughout the competition.

    Changes to Rules:

  1. The organizers reserve the right to modify the rules or cancel the competition if necessary. Any changes will be communicated to participants.
