About IEEE AJCE SB

IEEE AJCE Student Branch has been vibrant in the Kerala Section for more than a decade. The Student Branch consists of 150 plus active IEEE Student and Professional Membership holders. Under the umbrella of the Student Branch, two societies has been formed so that the members stay technically current, network with colleagues, and collaborate on research and projects, all while taking advantage of specialized opportunities. The Computer Society, Industry Applications Society were formed to provide benefits to members within specialized fields of interest. The Student Branch and the Societies actively organize various events so as to provide opportunities for student members to begin networking in their areas of interest and future profession. The Student Branch with a strong aim to promote and aid women in STEM, formed the WiE Student Branch Affinity Group to encourage women in engineering and technology to participate in activities that support the IEEE WiE mission. IEEE AJCE Student Branch is also home to many student members who have been awarded numerous IEEE awards. The student and professional IEEE members have been zealously volunteering as leaders for a variety of roles at Kochi Hub and Kerala Section

Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kanjirapally, is the first new generation engineering college in Kerala to secure the prestigious NBA accreditation for prime departments and the first engineering college having NAAC accreditation with ‘A’ grade. Amal Jyothi is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. It is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram since 2015. During the years 2001-2014, the College was affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. The main features of the College comprises world-class infrastructure, top-flight faculty, high pass percentage, excellent placement record, unique student projects and first rate innovation & entrepreneurship ventures on campus.
